thanks for the kind words! You got some good shots yourself! It's all about seeing the world through the perspective of a lens and choosing how you want to portray it. By the way, how's the D40X? Nikon rocks :)

That's the point. Life trough a lens... Do you know Annie Leibovitz? She has got a great movie with this title. You should watch! Second, right - Nikon is so perfect! For my needs D40x is quite good. But i hope that some day I'll get d90:) One more thing, sorry for my english;)

What sort of lenses do you have with your D40X? And the D90 is good...supposed to have the same sensor as the D300!

I have "serial" lens to that body: Nikkor 18-55 3.5-5 + cpl filter. In d90 not only sensor is from d300, this is the reason of her success. Perfect connection of amateur and pro camera. Well, maby some day...

That's a good lens...I've used my Dad's one before I got my own lenses. Now, I have the 18-250mm Tamron f/3.5-6.3 and Nikon f/1.8 50mm. both are awesome! If you decide to go into portraiture, I highly recommend the 50mm Nikon...superb bokeh and its damn fast!

Ever since the D300 came out, prices on the D200 have gone down...perhaps that is another camera you might consider. I love mine..had it for 6 months and have never looked back. Let me know if you got any more questions!
